Tomorrow, February 9, 2026, Governor Green has closed all Hawaii Department of Education public schools, as well as state, district, and complex area offices, due to severe weather conditions. Please note that this closure does not set a precedent for future school closures.
The Department will continue to monitor the situation in collaboration with state and emergency management officials. Updates regarding reopening or any additional closures will be communicated through official channels as soon as they become available.

Families are invited to join Ms. Prideaux for an informational meeting regarding a Spring 2027 tour to Japan. This trip is being planned in partnership with EF Educational Tours to provide students with an incredible travel opportunity.
We are pleased to announce our annual Makahiki celebration, an opportunity to bring Hawaiian culture and traditions to our campus. This special event allows students to learn about and participate in various traditional activities that highlight readiness physically, academically, and through the arts.
Hawai'i Keiki is offering no-cost physical exams for public school student athletes who are unable to see their Primary Care Provider (PCP). An annual physical is required for students to participate in sports.
Get ready to show your school spirit! This year's Homecoming Spirit Week, running from Monday, January 12th through Friday, January 16th, is taking us on a fun trip through the decades. Participate each day by dressing up according to the daily theme, starting with 1960's Hippies and ending with a Y2K theme on Friday.
