What to Expect
Our transition program is designed to be interactive and informative. Upon arrival, parents will receive a punch card to take to various informational stations. Once your card is fully punched, you can turn it in for a chance to receive a gas card!
Topics and stations will include:
- Set up for Success: Information on supplies and our transition program.
- Campus Procedures: Important details on bus forms, dress codes, the cell phone policy, and the bell schedule.
- Communication Tools: Learn about "Talking Points" and how we stay connected with families.
- Financial Responsibility: Information on managing school-related expenses.
- Student Leader Q&A: Get the student perspective on life at PHIS.
- Community Resources: Meet with Hawaii Keiki Nurses and explore college/career resources
You will also have the opportunity to fill out volunteer forms to support our school community throughout the upcoming year.
