Dear Parents and Guardians, Federal funding to help families who are struggling to pay for home internet service is available to qualified households. Funding is available through the Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB) program and is a direct benefit to households that qualify. EBB Program Benefits EBB program benefits include:
Eligibility If your family has a child who has been approved to receive benefits under the free and reduced- priced school lunch program or school breakfast program, or a student who is enrolled in a school that participates in the USDA Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program, during school year 2019-2020, 2020-2021, or 2021-2022, your household may qualify for EBB funding. A list of schools participating in the CEP program is available on the Hawaii State Department of Education’s website at https://www.hawaiipublicschools.org/TeachingAndLearning/HealthAndNutrition/StudentHealthReso urces/Pages/CEP.aspx.
