Any 8th thru 11th grade students interested in playing 8-Man Football next season sign-up in my room O-101.This summer there will be 3 days of tryouts on July 18-20* at the PHIS’ football field 3:00 to 5:30 pm. All students wanting to try-out for 8-Man Football will need to have a current sports physical before they can step on the football field. Contact Coach Chris Midel at 808-640-3079.
Cheerleading Conditioning and Tryouts will start on Tuesday, July 5th at 3:30 - 5:00pm behind the Gym, completed Sports Physical Required.

Driver’s Education Instruction, Mrs. River Rodgers, who has taught Driver’s Education at Kea’au High School for 10 years, is here at PHIS to offer students with valid learners permit the state and national curriculum for learning the proper, safe and legal ways to share the road with other roadway users. There will be a class held during the summer. Registration forms are available at the PHIS’ front office or in Mrs. Rodger’s classroom H201. Every student must complete 37 hours of class time and 18 hours of driving or observing time in order to receive the certificate needed to take the DMV Road Test.
